I like to spend my Saturday mornings watching branding cartoons (oops, I mean branding commercials). It is fascinating to watch how some companies spend endless amounts of money on campaigns cooked up by marketing geniuses.

One of my favorites is Zyppah. That’s happyz spelled backwards, the pitchman says. And then he spells it out because otherwise no one could find it on the web. You’ve probably heard the commercials where a guy with a heavy Brooklyn accent tells you all about it. Sounds kind of silly, but I suppose the marketing genius figured the accent would cut through all the noise out there and make their commercial distinctive. Congratulations, it achieved the goal-it sounds distinctively silly.
