It has been fascinating to watch Donald Trumps’ negotiations with North Korea, albeit from the sidelines. And I am always amazed watching the media pontificate about what he has done wrong. This coming from people who’s biggest negotiations have been what time their 10-year old child should go to bed!
Recently, Trump canceled the Singapore summit because North Korea wasn’t playing nice. Good move! Anything else would have signaled weakness. This is called the stick. No negotiation can be successful without a stick when it is needed.
